New recommended Transform track: Giving & Receiving Feedback

On-demand training through 15Five Transform is manager skill training from our curated course curriculum. Admins can assign our recommended tracks to managers, or create their own custom tracks made up of selected courses from our course library.

Our new Giving & Receiving Feedback competency-based learning track helps employees build skills in the most foundational aspects of feedback: from creating a feedback culture to driving performance and navigating diverse relationships. This track includes 3 courses, each of which takes around 60 minutes to complete: Creating a Culture of Feedback, Giving Feedback that Drives Performance, and Peer, Upward, & Cultural Feedback Considerations.

Feedback is most effective when it considers and adapts to its audience. In this course, we’ll explore additional ways to hone the practice of feedback specific to different working relationships and scenarios. Learn how to have critical conversations whenever conflict arises, while creating regular space for peer and upward feedback. Participants will also discover methods for bringing a deeper cultural awareness to their conversations which involve feedback.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Use a conversational framework specifically for addressing and resolving conflict with coworkers.
  • Share wins, challenges, and learnings as part of a group peer feedback practice.
  • Discover how culture can influence preferences for feedback.

Summarize open-text engagement feedback with AI

We added AI functionality to the Engagement feature that allows leaders with full results access to generate insights for open-text survey feedback.

Following an engagement survey, HR leaders and managers often find themselves drowning in a sea of unstructured feedback, struggling to uncover meaningful insights and actionable takeaways from employee responses. With the increasing importance of understanding and improving employee engagement, it's crucial to bridge the gap between feedback and action. In response to this pressing need, we've introduced a new tool to the 15Five platform: Spark AI.

Spark AI is a first-of-its-kind assistant that allows leaders to take action on contextual recommendations and follow relevant insights. Within 15Five's Engagement feature, Spark AI can be utilized to automatically categorize and summarize open-text feedback (i.e. Dynamic, eNPS, and Custom) transforming it into actionable themes based on Engagement Drivers.

Actions in 15Five are your personalized path to productivity and impact. Easily create individual or collaborative actions, discussions, and blockers so you can stay on top of your priorities and move in and out of live and asynchronous discussions with your team.

Actions allow you to prioritize tasks, engage in impactful conversations, and remove obstacles. Actions that require face-to-face conversation can be easily added to 1-on-1 agendas.

There are three types of Actions that you can create:

  1. πŸ“‹ Actions: Tasks you need to complete.
  2. πŸ’¬ Discussions: Important topics that you need to reflect on or collaborate with your team on.
  3. 🚫 Blockers: Things to surface with your manager that are preventing you from completing your work.

You can create Actions and view the Actions you're responsible for in your Actions List, located on your homepage.
