Access and Submit an Additional Manager Review

Use these steps to navigate to an assigned participant's review, write your feedback, and submit it. Your draft saves automatically, so you can return at any point before submitting.

As an additional manager, you are completing your own review of the participant. Your review does not replace the primary manager review.

Before You Begin

  • You must be assigned as an additional manager for the participant in this review cycle.
  • What you see while writing depends on the review experience your organization selected for this cycle. Contact your review admin if you are unsure which one this cycle uses.

Steps

  1. Click Reviews in the left-hand navigation.
  2. Click the review cycle name to open the Cycle Overview page.
  3. Locate the participant in the Cycle Participants section.
  4. Click the three dots to the right of their name.
  5. Select View from the dropdown menu.
  6. Click the Additional manager tab at the top of the review page.
  7. Enter your feedback in each answer field.
  8. Add supporting context, depending on the review experience selected for this cycle:
    • AI-Assisted Reviews. Additional-manager reviews receive AI drafting for eligible open-text questions, along with the Context library and the review assistant, when you are included in the drafting audience configured for the cycle. See Write a manager review with AI-Assisted Reviews for the full workflow.
    • The new review experience without AI. You write every answer yourself. There are no Moments, AI drafts, or review assistant in this cycle.
    • The legacy review experience. Click View resources in a question section to view High Fives, Wins & Challenges, Objectives, Past Check-ins, and Past reviews. See Access the Resources for Your Review panel during a review cycle for details.
  9. (Optional) Review already-submitted feedback using the review tabs at the top of the page. You can open other reviews you already have permission to view.
  10. Select your own ratings, if the review includes rating questions.
  11. Click Submit at the bottom of the review when finished.

Edit a submitted review

  1. Navigate back to the participant's review.
  2. Click Edit review next to the participant's avatar at the top of the page.
  3. Make your changes. The review saves automatically.
  4. Click Submit to resubmit.
