Insights Dashboard — Feature Overview

The Insights Dashboard surfaces pre-defined data stories across turnover, performance, engagement, and manager effectiveness — delivering narrative-driven analysis directly to HR admins without requiring manual data exploration.

Note: Your organization must have 15Five AI Features enabled for the Insights Dashboard to be accessible. See Configure 15Five AI feature settings for instructions.

Feature Structure

The Insights Dashboard is organized into four insight categories. Each category contains one or more data stories anchored to a specific HR question. Each data story presents a headline insight, guided follow-on prompts, and natural-language explanations of contributing factors.

Turnover Turnover rate over time; cost of voluntary turnover
Performance Performance distribution; low performance prevalence
Engagement Engagement trend over time; employee pride and advocacy
Manager Effectiveness Manager support needs; manager effectiveness signals; touchpoint frequency and quality

Key Rules

  • The Insights Dashboard is only visible to Account Admins.
  • 15Five AI Features must be enabled before the Insights Dashboard can be activated. Enabling AI Features is a prerequisite — it is not the same action as enabling the Insights Dashboard.
  • The Insights Dashboard is available on the Perform and Total Platform pricing packages only.
  • Insights surface automatically as qualifying data becomes available — no manual configuration is required per insight type.
  • Only completed review cycles and closed survey campaigns contribute data to insights. In-progress periods are excluded from calculations.
  • Employees without a current performance designation appear as Unmeasured in performance insights and are excluded from low performance counts.
  • Turnover insights require accurate termination data in 15Five. If HRIS sync is not available, termination data must be entered manually.
