Configure which group types appear in engagement survey filters

Engagement Admins and Organization Admins can control which group types appear as filtering options in engagement survey results. When complete, the Include in Engage filters toggle for each group type reflects your saved selection.

Note: Results are only shown for groups that meet your account's confidentiality threshold (3–5 members, depending on your settings). Excluding a group type that does not meet this threshold has no visible effect on results — it will not display regardless. See How does engagement survey confidentiality work in 15Five? for details.

Before You Begin

  • You must have Engagement Admin or Organization Admin access to modify these settings.

Steps

  1. Click the Settings gear in the bottom-left corner of your 15Five account.
  2. Select People from the dropdown menu.
  3. Click the Manage groups tab in the top navigation.
  4. Locate the group type you want to include or exclude.
  5. In the Include in Engage filters column, toggle the setting on to include the group type or off to exclude it.
  6. Repeat step 5 for each group type you want to change.

What Completion Looks Like

After toggling, the Include in Engage filters column immediately reflects the new state — no save action is required. When users filter engagement results, only group types with the toggle enabled appear as options.
