Engagement Admins and Organization Admins can permanently exclude an individual from receiving all current and future engagement campaigns by updating their account settings. When complete, the Receive engagement surveys checkbox on the individual's account page will be unchecked.
Before You Begin
- You must have the Engagement Admin or Organization Admin role in 15Five.
- Engagement is available on the Engage, Legacy Perform, and Total Platform packages.
Steps
- Click the gear icon in the lower-left corner of the navigation.
- Go to People > Manage people.
- Use the search bar or filters to locate the individual.
- Click the individual's name to open their account settings page.
- Uncheck Receive engagement surveys.
- Click Save at the bottom of the page.
What Correct Completion Looks Like
The Receive engagement surveys checkbox is unchecked on the individual's account settings page. The individual will not receive invitations for any engagement campaign, including campaigns already in draft status.
If Something Goes Wrong
| Issue | Check | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| Receive engagement surveys checkbox is greyed out | Confirm you have the Engagement Admin or Organization Admin role | Ask your account owner to verify your role in People settings |
| The individual's name does not appear in search | Confirm the person has an active 15Five account | Ask your IT Admin to verify the user's account status |
| The checkbox reverts to checked after saving | Confirm you clicked Save before navigating away | Repeat steps 5β6 and wait for the confirmation message before closing the page |
