Manage job responsibilities for a direct report in Career Hub

Job responsibilities in the Role Clarity tab list the duties from a direct report's job description. Employees rate each responsibility by how energizing they find it after you add them.

Before You Begin

  • Career Hub must be enabled for your organization by an account administrator.
  • You can only edit responsibilities you added. Responsibilities added by an account administrator cannot be edited.

Steps

Add a responsibility

  1. Click Career Hub in the left-hand navigation bar.
  2. Under Team, click the direct report's name to open their Career Hub.
  3. Click the Role Clarity tab.
  4. Scroll down to the Job responsibilities section.
  5. Click + Add responsibility in the top right corner of the section.
  6. Enter the responsibility as written in the employee's job description.
  7. Click Submit.
  8. Repeat steps 5–7 until all responsibilities are listed.

Edit a responsibility

  1. Click Career Hub in the left-hand navigation bar.
  2. Under Team, click the direct report's name to open their Career Hub.
  3. Click the Role Clarity tab.
  4. Scroll down to the Job responsibilities section.
  5. Click ... to the left of the responsibility you want to change.
  6. Select Edit from the dropdown menu.
  7. Make your changes, then click Update.

Remove a responsibility

  1. Click Career Hub in the left-hand navigation bar.
  2. Under Team, click the direct report's name to open their Career Hub.
  3. Click the Role Clarity tab.
  4. Scroll down to the Job responsibilities section.
  5. Click ... to the left of the responsibility you want to remove.
  6. Select Delete from the dropdown menu.

If Something Goes Wrong
