Career Hub for employees — Feature Overview

Career Hub gives employees a structured space to clarify their current role, document their strengths, explore their career vision, and track growth goals — all visible to their manager in real time or after sharing, depending on the tab.

> Note: Your organization may have renamed the Growth Plan feature. If you don't see Growth Plan in your navigation, check with your admin for the name used in your account.

Required access: Career Hub must be enabled for your account. Career Hub is available on the Perform and Total Platform pricing packages.

Feature Structure

Career Hub is organized into four tabs, each covering a distinct phase of career development. All four tabs are accessible from the top navigation bar inside Career Hub.

Role Clarity

Employees review their job title, description, and responsibilities — then rate each item by energizing level. Results are private until the employee explicitly shares them with their manager. Responsibilities, projects, and tasks are visible to both employee and manager in real time before sharing.

Strengths

Employees document strengths from external assessments, identify their top five strengths, and add values, passions, and interests. All answers in this tab are visible to the employee's manager as they are entered — no sharing step required.

Career Vision

Employees complete a vision board (ideal day, more of, less of), review their strengths and energizing work results, and write an aspirational role and job description. All content in this tab remains private until the employee shares it with their manager. After sharing, the manager is notified of any subsequent edits.

Growth Plan

Employees create career goals and break them into trackable actions. Goals are visible to the employee and their manager. Account admins cannot view individual Growth Plan pages, but can download a company-wide goals report. Goals created here function as self-development objectives and appear in Check-ins, Objectives, and the Resources panel during a performance review cycle.

Key Rules

  • Role Clarity: Energizing level ratings are private until the employee clicks Share with manager. Job responsibilities, projects, and tasks are visible to the manager in real time.
  • Strengths: All answers are visible to the manager as the employee types — there is no share step.
  • Career Vision: All content is private until the employee clicks Share with manager. The manager receives a notification when the employee edits answers after sharing.
  • Growth Plan: Visible to the employee and their direct manager. Account admins cannot view individual Growth Plan pages but can run a company-wide goals report.
  • Accessing your own Career Hub as a manager: If you have direct reports, Career Hub opens to the My Team page by default. Click My Career Hub in the top right to access your own Career Hub.
  • Career Hub is available on Perform and Total Platform pricing packages only.
