Career Hub for managers — overview and navigation

Career Hub gives managers visibility into each direct report's role clarity, strengths, and career vision data so they can support growth conversations with their team.

Note: Career Hub must be enabled by an account administrator before managers can access it. See Enable or disable Career Hub for instructions.

Feature Structure

Career Hub is organized around three tabs, visible when viewing a direct report's profile:

  • Role Clarity — displays the direct report's job description, job responsibilities, and projects and tasks. Shows energizing work ratings after the direct report shares results with you.
  • Strengths — displays the direct report's top strengths themes, values, and passions. Strength tab updates are visible to managers immediately without requiring a share action.
  • Career Vision — displays the direct report's career goals and vision statement. View-only for managers; the direct report controls when results are shared.

Key Rules

  • Career Hub is available on the Perform and Total Platform pricing packages.
  • Only the direct report and their manager can view a direct report's Career Hub.
  • Managers can add and edit job descriptions, job responsibilities, and projects and tasks in the Role Clarity tab. Managers cannot edit job responsibilities added by an account administrator.
  • Energizing work ratings for responsibilities and projects and tasks are visible to the manager only after the direct report shares results. Until shared, ratings are visible to the direct report only.
  • Managers cannot edit responses entered by their direct report. Managers can leave comments on items in the Role Clarity and Strengths tabs.
  • If your organization uses SCIM to manage job titles, job title edits must be made in your SCIM provider — the field is not editable in 15Five.
  • Job descriptions and responsibilities uploaded by account administrators are matched to employees by job title. Job titles must exactly match the uploaded data — extra spaces, symbols, or words will prevent matching.
