Syncing attribute values from your connected HRIS keeps employee data current in 15Five without manual entry. After sync, attribute values appear on employee profiles and become available for filtering in reporting dashboards.
Before You Begin
- Confirm an HRIS integration is already connected to your 15Five account.
- To sync demographic attributes, confirm that Demographic Attributes are enabled in your account settings. See .
- To sync custom attributes, confirm that the matching custom attribute fields already exist in 15Five. See Create a Custom Attribute.
Steps
Sync Default Attributes
Default attributes — such as Job Title, Hire Date, and Location — sync automatically once your HRIS is connected. No additional configuration is required inside 15Five.
- Confirm your HRIS integration is active and syncing in your account settings.
- Verify synced values by navigating to People → Manage People.
- Select an employee and review their default attribute fields.
Sync Demographic Attributes
Demographic attributes — such as Gender, Race, Ethnicity, Birth Date, and Salary — sync automatically from your connected HRIS once Demographic Attributes are enabled.
- Confirm Demographic Attributes are enabled in your account settings.
- Confirm your HRIS includes demographic fields mapped to 15Five.
- Navigate to People → Attributes to verify coverage after the next sync.
Sync Custom Attributes
Custom attribute values sync from your HRIS if your connected HR system supports custom field mapping. The corresponding custom attribute must already exist in 15Five before values will populate.
- Navigate to People → Attributes and confirm the target custom attribute exists.
- In your HRIS, confirm the custom field is included in the integration mapping.
- Trigger or wait for the next scheduled sync.
- Navigate to People → Manage People and select an employee to verify the value populated.
If Something Goes Wrong
