The HRBP role lets you delegate performance review management to specific people in your HR team — without giving them full admin access. Each HRBP gets access to review cycles, calibrations, and review data for a defined population of employees that you choose.
Before You Begin
- You must be an HR Admin.
Note: To ensure the highest level of security, 15Five is continually investing in our overall information security program, resources, and expertise. To review 15Five's security documents, and how we handle your company data, see our Trust Website.
Steps
- Go to Manage People. You’ll see the list of active users.
- Find the person you want to make an HRBP. Search by name in the active users list, or go to the Permissions tab to manage all role assignments.
- Click the three dots at the right side. This shows the actions you can do to their profile.
- Click “Change Roles”. This opens a modal where you can assign or remove roles for that person.
- Check “HR Business Partner (HRBP)”. A population selector will appear below the checkbox.
- Choose their population. Click “Select segments” to define which employees this HRBP should have access to. You must select at least one segment. See Section 4 for details on how populations work.
- Save. The role takes effect immediately. The HRBP will see review management options for their assigned population the next time they access 15Five.
Bulk assignment: You can assign the HRBP role to multiple people at once. From the Roles tab, use the “Add” action to select several people and give them the same role and population in one step.
