Apply bulk actions to multiple people in Manage People

Admins and managers can apply the same change to multiple people at once using bulk actions on the Manage People page. Supported actions include changing a reviewer, changing Check-in due days, setting a vacation, and deactivating accounts. Changes are applied immediately and reflected on the Manage People page when complete.

Before You Begin

  • Account admins can apply bulk actions to anyone in the organization. Managers can apply bulk actions to their direct reports and anyone below them in the hierarchy.

Steps 1–4: Select people and open the Actions menu

These four steps apply to every bulk action. After step 4, continue to the section for the action you want to perform.

  1. Go to People in the left-hand navigation.
  2. Use the search bar or filters to find the people you want to update.
  3. Check the box next to each person's name.
  4. Click Actions at the top of the page and select an option from the dropdown.

Change Reviewer

  1. Select the manager you want to reassign the selected people to.
  2. Click Change reviewer.

Change Check-in Due Day

  1. Select a new due day from the dropdown.
  2. Click Change due day.

Set Vacation

  1. Enter a start date and end date for the vacation.
  2. Enter an optional note.
  3. Click Set vacation.

Deactivate

  1. Review the list of people to be deactivated.
  2. Click Deactivate accounts.

- If any selected person is a manager, a second prompt appears asking you to assign someone to take over their direct reports. Select a replacement manager before confirming.

If Something Goes Wrong
