Configuring SAML SSO lets employees access 15Five directly from Rippling using their Rippling credentials. After setup, employees no longer need a separate 15Five password.
Before You Begin
- Complete the API connection between 15Five and Rippling before setting up SSO. See Set up the Rippling integration.
- You must be both a 15Five account admin and a Rippling administrator.
- Test your SSO configuration before enabling it to avoid being locked out of your account.
Steps
- In Rippling, open the 15Five application.
- Navigate to the Settings tab.
- Locate the Set up SSO section.
- Follow the on-screen SAML instructions to configure SSO for your account.
- Enter the SAML values Rippling provides into the corresponding fields.
- Save your SSO configuration.
- Test the SSO connection before activating it for all employees.
- Enable SSO to allow employees to log in through Rippling.
> If you want to skip SSO setup, select I'll Do This Later in the bottom-right corner. Employees will be prompted to create a 15Five password on first login instead.
