After your HRIS Connector is active, you can return to the configuration page at any time to change how data syncs. Updates take effect on the next sync.
Before You Begin
Your HRIS Connector must already be connected and have completed at least one successful sync.
Steps
- Click the Settings gear in the bottom-left corner of your 15Five account.
- Select Integrations from the dropdown menu.
- Select HRIS Connector from the integrations list.
You are now on the configuration page. Update any of the following settings:
- Filters — Inclusion and exclusion rules that control which employees sync to 15Five.
- Employee fields — Which employee data fields sync to 15Five.
- Automatic sync — Toggle automatic 24-hour sync on or off.
- Immediately send invite emails to imported people — Controls whether newly synced employees receive an automatic email invite from 15Five.
- Demographic attributes — Controls whether demographic fields (Birth date, Ethnicity, Gender, Race, Salary) sync from your HRIS.
After making changes, click Validate & Review, then proceed through the group type and group mapping steps to run a new sync.
If Something Goes Wrong
| Issue | Check | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| Configuration page doesn't load | Confirm your HRIS integration is still active | Contact 15Five Support — only one active integration is allowed at a time |
| Settings page shows no HRIS Connector option | Verify you have Account Admin permissions | Ask your Account Admin to grant integration settings access |
| Changes to filters don't appear after sync | Confirm you clicked Validate & Review and completed the sync | Re-enter settings, update filters, and run the full sync flow again |
| Demographic attributes toggle is missing | Confirm your account uses the HRIS Connector, not a manual import | Demographic attributes are only available for HRIS Connector accounts |
