The confidentiality threshold controls how many survey responses a group must have before its results are visible to users with results access. This article covers how to set that threshold to 3, 4, or 5 respondents.
Before You Begin
- You must have Engagement Admin or Organization Admin access to Engagement feature settings.
- This setting is available on the Engage, Legacy Perform, and Total Platform pricing packages.
Steps
- Click the Settings gear icon in the bottom-left corner of your 15Five account.
- Go to Features > Engage.
- Click the Results visibility tab.
- Select a respondent minimum under Confidentiality rule:
- 3 — results visible when 3 or more responses are submitted - 4 — results visible when 4 or more responses are submitted - 5 — results visible when 5 or more responses are submitted (system default)
- Click Save.
After saving, Results visibility reflects the selected threshold. The updated threshold applies to all future engagement campaigns.
If Something Goes Wrong
| Issue | Check | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| Results visibility tab is not visible | Confirm your account has Engagement Admin or Organization Admin permissions | Contact your Organization Admin to verify your access level |
| Saved threshold does not appear in an active campaign | Confirm the campaign had not yet launched when the change was saved | The threshold cannot be retroactively applied — wait until the next campaign to use the updated setting |
| Save button is unresponsive | Check whether a threshold option is selected | Select a threshold value (3, 4, or 5), then click Save again |
