Group membership for 15Five groups can be managed from OneLogin via SCIM. Groups must originate in 15Five and be imported into OneLogin — not the other way around.
Before You Begin
- SCIM must already be configured and enabled between OneLogin and 15Five.
- Groups created natively in OneLogin (at
https://subdomain.onelogin.com/groups) cannot be pushed to 15Five. Only groups created in 15Five can be synced.
Steps
- In 15Five, navigate to Settings and open the Groups section.
- Create the group you want to manage via SCIM (for example, "Leadership").
- In OneLogin, navigate to the 15Five application.
- Click the Provisioning tab inside the app.
- Under Entitlements, click Refresh to import all groups from 15Five.
- Open a user's profile in OneLogin.
- Move the target group from Available Values to Selected Values.
- Click Save.
The user now appears as a member of that group in 15Five.
If Something Goes Wrong
| Issue | Check | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| Group does not appear under Entitlements | Confirm the group was created in 15Five, not in OneLogin | Create the group in 15Five, then click Refresh again |
| User is not showing as a group member in 15Five after save | Confirm the group appears under Selected Values in the user's OneLogin profile | Re-open the user profile, verify the assignment, and click Save |
| Newly synced group has no type assigned in 15Five | SCIM does not sync group types — new groups land in the default Groups type | Manually assign the correct group type inside 15Five |
| Group admin role is not syncing | SCIM does not sync group admin assignments | Set group admin roles manually in 15Five |
