Undo shared and finalized review results

Once review results are shared with a participant, edits to submitted reviews are blocked. Use this process to unshare or reopen results so the required person can edit and resubmit their review.

Before You Begin

Confirm you have the required role for the participant whose results you need to reopen.

Role Can reopen results for
Review admin Any participant in any cycle
Cycle collaborator Any participant in their assigned cycle(s)
Manager Their own direct reports only

Steps

  1. Go to Reviews in the left navigation.
  2. Select the active review cycle.
  3. Click Participants to open the participant list.
  4. Locate the participant whose results need to be reopened.
  5. Click the participant's name to open their review details.
  6. Click Unshare results (or Reopen results if the review is finalized).
  7. Confirm the action in the dialog that appears.
  8. Notify the reviewer that their review is now editable.
  9. After edits are complete, reshare and refinalize results following your standard process.

If Something Goes Wrong

Unshare results button is not visible Confirm your role matches the participant's reporting line Have a review admin perform the action instead
Reviewer cannot see the review after reopening Confirm the reviewer's access has not been changed Check participant settings and reassign the review author if needed
Button is greyed out Confirm the review cycle is not locked Unlock the cycle before attempting to unshare — contact your review admin
