Lock a completed review cycle

Locking a review cycle prevents all users from submitting reviews or editing any cycle details. After locking, a lock icon appears next to the cycle on the Reviews tab.

Before You Begin

  • All manager summary meetings must be complete and all summaries finalized before you lock the cycle.
  • If you need to unlock a locked cycle later, see Lock or unlock a review cycle.

Steps

  1. Navigate to Reviews in the top navigation bar.
  2. Locate the completed review cycle in the list.
  3. Click the cycle name to open it.
  4. Click Manage cycle or the settings menu for the cycle.
  5. Select Lock cycle.
  6. Confirm the action in the confirmation dialog.
  7. Return to the Reviews tab and verify a lock icon appears next to the cycle.
