Hold and lock a calibration session

Calibration sessions let calibrators view the distribution of review ratings across managers and adjust those ratings before results reach participants. Complete these steps after manager reviews have been submitted and a calibration session has already been created.

Before You Begin

  • A calibration session must already exist for the review cycle. To create one, see Create a calibration session.
  • Manager reviews must be submitted before you hold a session.

Steps

  1. Navigate to Reviews in the left sidebar.
  2. Select the active review cycle.
  3. Click Calibrations to open the calibrations view.
  4. Select the calibration session you want to hold.
  5. Review the rating distribution across managers with session contributors.
  6. Adjust any ratings directly in the session as needed.
  7. Confirm all adjustments are final before proceeding.
  8. Click Lock Session to lock the calibration session.
  9. Confirm the lock when prompted.
