Predictive Impact Scores appear in your engagement survey results and show which statements, if improved, would most increase engagement for a specific group. Use this workflow to locate those scores, filter by group, and create a targeted Action Plan.
Before You Begin
- You must have access to Engagement and the HR Outcomes Dashboard.
- At least one engagement survey must have completed responses.
- This feature is available in the Engage and Total Platform packages only.
Steps
- Navigate to Engage in the left sidebar.
- Select Reports from the top navigation.
- Open the engagement survey results you want to analyze.
- Click the Statements tab.
- Locate the Predictive Impact Score column next to each statement.
- Review scores — negative scores indicate statements currently reducing engagement.
- Click the Group filter at the top of the report.
- Select the department, team, or demographic segment you want to analyze.
- Confirm the Statements tab updates to show scores specific to that group.
- Identify the statement with the most negative Predictive Impact Score for the selected group.
- Click Create Action Plan next to that statement.
- Enter a name for the Action Plan that references the statement and group.
- Assign an owner and set a target completion date.
- Add at least one action step describing how the team will address the statement.
- Click Save to activate the Action Plan.
If Something Goes Wrong
| Issue | Check | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| Statements tab shows no Predictive Impact Scores | Confirm the survey has received enough responses to generate model output | Wait until the minimum response threshold is met, then reload the report |
| Group filter returns no data | Verify the selected group has submitted responses for this survey | Choose a group with a non-zero response count |
| Create Action Plan button is not visible | Check that your role has permission to create Action Plans in Engage | Contact your 15Five Admin to grant Action Plan creation access |
| Scores do not change after selecting a different group | Check that the page has fully reloaded after applying the filter | Clear the filter, reapply the group selection, and wait for the table to refresh |
