Use the campaign audit log to see who made changes to an engagement campaign, what action was taken, and when. When complete, a timestamped log of all campaign events is visible on screen.
Before You Begin
- You must have Engagement Admin or Organization Admin access to view the audit log.
- This feature is available on the Engage, Legacy Perform, and Total Platform pricing packages.
- An active engagement campaign must exist in your account.
Steps
- Go to Surveys > Engagement in the left-hand navigation.
- On the Engagement campaigns page, click the name of your active campaign.
- Alternatively, click the ellipsis (…) to the far right of the campaign row and select Track Progress.
- Click the Settings gear icon to the right of the campaign name.
- Select Audit Log from the dropdown menu.
What a Completed Step Looks Like
The audit log opens and displays a table with three columns: the person who made the change, the action taken, and the timestamp of the change.
If Something Goes Wrong
| Issue | Check | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| Audit Log option does not appear in the Settings dropdown | Confirm your role is Engagement Admin or Organization Admin | Ask your Organization Admin to verify your role in account settings |
| Settings gear icon is not visible on the campaign page | Confirm you navigated to the campaign detail page, not the campaigns list | Click the campaign name first, then look for the gear icon to the right of the campaign name |
| No campaigns appear on the Engagement campaigns page | Confirm at least one campaign has been created in your account | Create an active campaign before attempting to access the audit log |
