Admins can extend the end date of an active engagement campaign to give participants more time to submit their surveys. When complete, the campaign's end date updates and participants receive a notification of the new deadline.
Before You Begin
- You must have access to the Engagement Dashboard. Contact your 15Five account owner if you do not see Engagement in your navigation.
- The campaign must be in an active state. The Extend campaign button does not appear for closed or scheduled campaigns.
Steps
- Go to Surveys > Engagement in the left-hand navigation.
- Click the name of the active campaign you want to extend.
- Click Extend campaign.
- Select a new end date using the date picker.
- The new date must be later than the current end date.
- Click Confirm to save the updated end date.
What Success Looks Like
The campaign detail page displays the updated end date. Participants who have not yet submitted their survey receive a notification with the new deadline.
If Something Goes Wrong
| Issue | Check | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| Extend campaign button is not visible | Confirm the campaign status is Active | Closed or scheduled campaigns cannot be extended. Reopen or wait until the campaign is active. |
| New end date cannot be selected | Verify the selected date is later than the current end date | Choose a date after the current end date. |
| Changes do not save after clicking Confirm | Check for a visible error message on the page | Note the error message and contact 15Five Support with the campaign name and error text. |
