Check-in question fields support several inline tools for formatting, referencing teammates, and attaching content. These tools are available in any text response field within your Check-in.

| Add to 1-on-1 agenda | Click the double chat icon on a question answer | Adds the answer to your next 1-on-1 agenda with your manager |
| Wins and Challenges | Click the flag icon on a question answer | Flags the answer as a win or challenge for future reference |
| File attachments | Click the paperclip icon in the text field toolbar | Attaches a file to your answer |
| Images and GIFs | Click the image icon in the text field toolbar | Embeds an image or GIF inline in your answer |
| Markdown formatting | Use standard Markdown syntax in the text field | Applies bold, italic, lists, headers, and other formatting |
| Private lock | Click the lock icon on a question answer | Makes the answer visible only to you and your direct manager |
Not all tools appear on every question type. The toolbar icons visible above or beside a text field indicate which tools are available for that field.
