Bulk import objectives and key results

Use bulk import to add multiple objectives and key results to 15Five at once via a CSV file, instead of creating them one at a time.

Before You Begin

• You must have Account Admin access.
• Objectives must be enabled in your 15Five account.
• Every objective in your import must have an end date in the future. Past end dates cause the import to fail.

Steps

1. Click the Settings gear in the bottom-left corner of your 15Five account.
2. Select Features from the dropdown menu.
3. Click Objectives.
4. Click the Import tab in the top navigation bar.
5. Click Create new import.
6. Click Download template to get the import CSV template.
7. Open the downloaded template in a spreadsheet application.
8. Enter each objective on its own row following the template column headers.
9. To add key results under an objective, enter each key result on its own row directly below the parent objective row.
10. Ensure no end dates are set to a date in the past.
11. Save the file in CSV format.
12. Return to the Import tab in 15Five Objectives settings.
13. Click Create new import.
14. Upload your completed CSV file.
15. Review the import preview for any flagged errors.
16. Click Confirm import to complete the upload.

This article covers importing new objectives only — editing or deleting existing objectives via CSV is not supported through this workflow.
