Configure HRIS sync settings and run a data sync

After connecting your HRIS to 15Five, complete this configuration to control which employees and groups sync. At the end, you run the first data sync.

Before You Begin

  • Your HRIS must be connected and the initial data pull must be complete. The initial pull takes 10–15 minutes for most companies and up to a few hours for large organizations.
  • You must have account admin access to integration settings.

Steps

  1. Click the Settings gear in the bottom-left corner of your 15Five account.
  2. Select Integrations from the dropdown menu.
  3. Select your active HRIS from the integrations list.
  4. Click Add filter row to add an inclusion or exclusion filter.
  5. Set your first filter to Include employees by employment type (for example, Full-Time).
  6. Add Exclude filters to remove specific emails, locations, or divisions if needed.

> Inactive employees are automatically excluded. You do not need to add a filter for them.

  1. Scroll to the Confirm your company settings section at the bottom of the page.
  2. Review the Immediately send invite emails to imported people setting. Click the link next to it to change it.
  3. Review the Demographic attributes setting. Click the link next to it to enable or disable it.
  4. Click Validate & Review to preview employee data before syncing.
  5. Review the employee preview. Check the Created and Unsynced sections for duplicate records or missing Employee IDs.
  6. Click Back to adjust filters, or click Preview Group Type Data to continue.
  7. On the Review Group Types page, set each group type to one of: Matched, Created, Excluded, or Untouched.
  8. Click Confirm Group Type Data.
  9. On the group mapping page, set each group to Matched, Created, or Excluded.
  10. Click Confirm group data.
  11. Click Run data sync.
  12. When the sync completes, click the History tab to review imported data.

> The sync runs automatically every 24 hours after this initial setup. Follow these same steps to run a manual sync at any time.
