This article covers how to configure which factors and subfactors contribute to your organization's Manager Effectiveness Indicator (MEI) score, and how to adjust their weights. Changes take effect on the HR Outcomes Dashboard MEI tile.
Before You Begin
- You must have Account Admin access.
- The HR Outcomes Dashboard must be enabled for your account (Perform or Total Platform package required).
- To get competency-based MEI data, run a Manager Effectiveness Assessment before configuring. See Run a Manager Effectiveness Review Cycle or Run a Manager Effectiveness Engagement Survey.
Steps
- Click the Settings gear in the bottom-left corner of your 15Five account.
- Select Features from the dropdown menu.
- Click Outcomes & Manager Effectiveness.
- On the Outcomes & Manager Effectiveness Settings page, expand the Manager Effectiveness section.
- Click Edit configuration.
- Click + to the right of a factor to open its subfactor options.
- Check the box to the left of each subfactor you want to include in the MEI calculation.
- Repeat steps 6–7 for the other factor if needed.
- To customize subfactor weights, click Advanced configuration within the expanded subfactor options.
- Adjust the weight values for each subfactor. A recommended weight is pre-populated for each one.
- Click Save.
> Tip: Hover over a subfactor name to see which inputs 15Five collects to measure it.
