Create a manager effectiveness engagement survey campaign

This article covers how to create a Manager Effectiveness engagement survey campaign in 15Five. When complete, the campaign is scheduled and confirmed — ready to launch at the configured start date and time.

Before You Begin

Steps

  1. Go to Surveys > Engagement in the left-hand navigation.
  2. Click Create campaign in the Campaigns section.
  3. Review the default survey grouping added to your campaign.

- The Total Engagement grouping is added by default and includes the Manager Effectiveness survey. - To run a manager effectiveness survey only, or to add its eight statements to a different campaign, continue to step 4. - To keep the default grouping and proceed, skip to step 6.

  1. Click Add Survey.
  2. Select Manager Effectiveness Survey from the survey list on the right side of the screen.
  3. Enter a name for your campaign in the campaign name field.
  4. In the Who do you want to participate section, select your audience:

- All employees — every active employee receives the survey. - Specific groups — only members of selected groups receive the survey.

  1. Exclude any employees by hire date or name if needed.

- Note: New employees are automatically included in the campaign up until the start date.

  1. Click View participants on the right to confirm who will receive the survey.
  2. Select a feedback filter to set the group type used to view open-ended question responses.
  3. Set the Start Date and End Date using the date and time fields.
  4. Choose a Repeat setting:

- Select Do not repeat to run the campaign once. - Select a repeat interval (default is every 90 days) to run the campaign on a schedule. - Note: When a recurring campaign ends, 15Five automatically creates the next one. To stop future recurrences, see .

  1. Select one or more Notification Type options: Email, SMS, or Slack.
  2. Review the Notification Schedule.

- The system adds five default notification dates when you set the start date. Only non-respondents receive reminders after the first notification. - To add a notification, click Add notification and set your desired date and time. - To verify deliverability, click Send test notification. See Test the deliverability of engagement campaign notifications.

  1. Click Confirm campaign at the top of the page.
  2. Review the confirmation prompt, then click Confirm campaign to finalize.

What Completion Looks Like

After clicking Confirm campaign, the campaign appears in the Campaigns list with a scheduled status. The campaign launches automatically at the configured start date and time.
