This article covers how managers hold a Best-Self Kickoff meeting with a direct report in 15Five. When complete, a confirmation popup appears on screen.
Before You Begin
- Both you and your direct report must complete your 15Five profiles before starting. See Best-Self Kickoff — Feature Overview for instructions.
- To document notes during the meeting, have a 1-on-1 agenda open in a separate tab. See Add a talking point to a 1-on-1 agenda.
Steps
- Schedule a meeting with your direct report outside of 15Five.
- When the meeting begins, go to your direct report's profile in 15Five.
- Click the About tab.
- Click View Best-Self Kickoff on the right side of the page.
- Click Get started.
- Review the first question and discuss both answers with your direct report.
- Click Continue to advance to the next question.
- Repeat steps 6–7 for each remaining question.
- Click Finish after the last question.
A confirmation popup appears indicating the Best-Self Kickoff is complete.
If Something Goes Wrong
