Admins and managers can send invitation emails to users who were added to 15Five without an invite. When complete, the user moves to the Pending invitations section of the Manage people page.
Before You Begin
- You must have access to the Manage people page. Account admins can send invitations for anyone in the organization. Managers can send invitations for their direct reports and anyone below them in the reporting hierarchy.
- To customize the invitation email text before sending, go to Company settings > Invite settings. See Customize invite email content for new users for instructions.
Steps
- Go to People in the left-hand navigation.
- Click the Invited tab.
- Scroll to the Created section.
- Check the box next to each user you want to invite.
- Select Send invitation from the dropdown menu.
- Review the confirmation pop-up, then click Yes, send invitation.
The invited users move to the Pending invitations section. Invitations expire after 30 days.
If Something Goes Wrong
| Issue | Check | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| A user does not appear in the Created section | Confirm the user was added without an invitation — users added via IdP are created as Created users but do not require an invite email to sign in | Search for the user on the Active or Pending invitations tab instead |
| Send invitation dropdown option is not available | Confirm at least one checkbox is selected | Select one or more users, then reopen the dropdown |
| User does not receive the invitation email | Check whether the invitation email domain is on your organization's allowlist | See Add engagement survey emails, IP addresses, and URLs to your allowlist for allowlist instructions — the same allowlist applies to invitation emails |
| Invitation expires before the user accepts | Invitations expire after 30 days — check whether 30 days have elapsed | Return the user to the Created section by following these steps again to resend |
