Nudge a person to respond to a peer nomination

Send a custom email to a nominated peer who has not yet accepted or declined their nomination. When complete, the peer receives an email from notifications@15five.com prompting them to respond.

Note: Your organization may have renamed this feature. If you don't see Reviews in your navigation, check with your admin for the name used in your account.

Before You Begin

  • You must be a Review admin or Cycle collaborator to complete this task.
  • Managers see only their team's peer nominations by default. To nudge a peer for any participant in the cycle, open the Everyone's Peers tab in step 4.

Steps

  1. Go to Reviews in the left-hand navigation.
  2. Click the name of the review cycle you want to manage.
  3. Click the Peer nominations tab.
  4. Click the Everyone's Peers tab (managers only — skip if you are a Review admin or Cycle collaborator).
  5. Use the search bar to find the participant whose peer has not responded.
  6. Click the row for that participant to expand their peer nominations.
  7. Click Nudge next to the peer you want to notify.
  8. Type your message in the text field.
  9. Click Send email.

What Success Looks Like

The peer receives an email from notifications@15five.com with the subject line: "Nudge: don't forget to accept or decline peer nominations you received!"

If Something Goes Wrong

Issue Check Fix
Nudge button is not visible Confirm you have Review admin or Cycle collaborator access Ask your Review admin to verify your role in the cycle
Participant does not appear in search Confirm the participant is enrolled in this cycle Go to the cycle's Participants tab and verify enrollment
Everyone's Peers tab is not visible Confirm you are a Review admin or Cycle collaborator, not only a manager Ask your Review admin to update your role
Peer did not receive the email Confirm the peer's email address is correct in 15Five Ask the peer to check their spam folder for mail from notifications@15five.com
