Understand your role as a participant in a performance review cycle

This article explains what participants are responsible for in a performance review cycle and links to instructions for each task.

Feature Structure

When you are added to a review cycle, all tasks are accessible from Reviews in the left navigation. Select your cycle to reach the cycle overview page, which displays key dates and your assigned tasks.

Your review to-dos (at the top of the cycle overview) lists every action assigned to you, including:

  • Reviews you must write (self, peer, upward, or manager reviews)
  • Peer nominations (if enabled for this cycle)
  • Due dates and submission status for each task

Key Rules

  • Peer nominations can be submitted up until the cycle's end date or until your results are finalized — whichever comes first.
  • Reviews you write are not visible to anyone until you submit them.
  • Your manager, a review admin, or a cycle collaborator can also nominate peers on your behalf.
  • Some cycles include a required acknowledgment step after results are shared. See .
