After creating a career goal, you can update its status and mark actions complete from three locations in 15Five. Each path produces the same result — an updated goal status visible in Career Hub.
Before You Begin
- You must have at least one career goal already created in Career Hub.
- Access to Career Hub is required. Career Hub is available on the Perform and Total Platform packages.
Path 1: Update from a Check-in
- Click Check-ins in the left-hand navigation.
- Click Fill out Check-in next to your current Check-in.
- Locate your career goal in the Objectives section at the top of the Check-in.
- Click your current status and select On track, Behind, or At risk.
- Click the status indicator next to each completed action to mark it Complete.
Success state: The updated status and completed actions save immediately and reflect in Career Hub.
Path 2: Update from the Growth plan tab in Career Hub
- Click Career Hub in the left-hand navigation.
- If you are a manager, click My Career Hub in the top-right corner.
- Click the Growth plan tab in the top navigation bar.
- Click the name of the career goal you want to update.
- Click your current status and select On track, Behind, or At risk.
- Click the status indicator next to each completed action to mark it Complete.
Success state: The goal card reflects the new status and action completion immediately.
Path 3: Update from the Objectives tab
- Click Objectives in the left-hand navigation.
- Use the Objective owners filter and select My objectives.
- Use the Objective type filter and select Self-development.
- Locate your career goal in the Objectives summary section.
- Click the current status on the goal and select On track, Behind, or At risk from the dropdown.
- Click the status indicator next to each completed action to mark it Complete.
Success state: The goal status and action completion update immediately on the Objectives page and in Career Hub.
If Something Goes Wrong
