This article answers who has visibility into a participant's performance rating in a performance review cycle.
> Note: Your organization may have renamed this feature. If you don't see "Performance Ratings+" in your navigation, check with your admin for the name used in your account.
Direct Answer
Review admins, cycle collaborators, a participant's direct manager, additional managers, and review viewers can see a participant's performance rating.
Key Rules
- Skip-level managers can view ratings for their direct reports' hierarchy only if hierarchy visibility is enabled in the review cycle.
- Review cycle participants can view their own performance rating only if the Performance rating is visible to review participants setting is enabled in Performance Ratings+ feature settings.
- Performance Ratings+ is available on the Perform and Total Platform pricing packages.
Common Misunderstanding
Visibility for skip-level managers and participants is not on by default — both require explicit configuration. If a participant or skip-level manager cannot see a rating, check the relevant setting before escalating.
