The Granola integration connects your Granola workspace to 15Five AI, bringing in meeting notes, transcripts, participants, and meetings so Agents have the conversation context behind your work.
Business or Enterprise only. The integration reads data through Granola's API using a personal or workspace API key. Workspace API keys are available on Granola Enterprise.

What It Enables
- Gives Agents the conversation context behind the work, including meeting summaries, transcripts, attendees, and meetings.
- Connects people to the meetings they run and attend, mapped by email to their 15Five accounts.
- Reads notes from any Granola space that has API access enabled.
Key Concepts
Granola stores every meeting inside a folder, and every folder lives inside a space. Because 15Five AI reads through the Granola API, the space a meeting lives in determines whether the integration can see it.
- Workspace is the top-level container for your organization.
- Space is a group of folders. Every workspace has My notes (personal) and a team space that everyone at your company can see. Admins can also create custom spaces.
- Folder lives inside a space and takes its visibility from that space.
- Note is the meeting itself. Notes inherit visibility from their folder.
New meetings are saved to your personal space (My notes) and are not shared with attendees or teammates unless you take action. That means the integration only sees meetings you have moved into a readable space.

- Names and emails from the note-taker, attendees, organizer, and invitees, used to map Granola participants to 15Five accounts
- External guests with no 15Five account appear as names in context only
Backfill and sync cadence
On first connect, 15Five AI backfills up to 12 months of history. Actual depth depends on retention settings and permissions in the source system, so some accounts may see less. After the initial backfill, new activity syncs on an ongoing basis throughout the day.
Raw meeting notes are processed to generate insights rather than kept as a raw log, and the underlying raw content is not retained after 30 days.
What Does Not Get Synced
- Personal notes and private folders, unless the note is shared to a space with API access enabled. If a personal API key is used, the creator may also share their own personal notes.
- Notes still processing, or that never received an AI summary and transcript.
Permissions Overview
Access comes from a combination of space settings and the scopes on the API key. 15Five recommends a Granola workspace admin create a workspace API key that does not expire, so the connection keeps working if that admin leaves.

When creating an API key, the Public notes scope must be selected, and optionally Personal notes for a personal API key.
Key Rules
- A Granola Business or Enterprise plan is required.
- At least one space must have Allow Granola API access enabled, or the integration cannot read notes.
- Meetings left in My notes are never ingested. Move a meeting to the team space or a custom space to make it available.
- Admins can turn off Allow Granola API access per space under Settings > Spaces. It is on by default for new spaces.
- The API key can be revoked in Granola at any time, and 15Five AI's view stops at whatever the key can read.
- Insights follow source permissions. If you were not included in a meeting, you do not see its transcript or notes in 15Five.
Common Questions
Why are some of my meetings missing?
New meetings save to your personal space (My notes), which the integration does not read. Move the meeting into a folder in your team space or a custom space.
How do I make a recurring meeting sync automatically?
The first time you add a recurring meeting's note to a folder, Granola prompts Auto-add future meetings?. Accepting drops every future instance into the same folder automatically.
Does folder-level sharing stop the integration from reading a note?
No. Folder sharing controls who sees the folder inside Granola. If the folder sits in a space with API access enabled, the note is read.
How much history is imported?
Up to 12 months of history is backfilled on initial connection. Actual depth depends on retention settings and permissions in Granola, so some accounts may see less.
