HubSpot Integration — Feature Overview

The 15Five AI HubSpot integration connects your HubSpot account to 15Five AI, bringing CRM and service data — deals, companies, tickets, activities, and conversations — into the context agents draw on. A HubSpot Super Admin authorizes the connection once and chooses which optional data objects to include.

Access and Availability

Role Requirement
HubSpot Super Admin Required to authorize the OAuth connection and approve requested scopes
15Five Company Admin, HR Admin, or IT Admin Required to initiate the connection from Agents Hub

The same person can hold both roles, or two people can coordinate setup.

Note: To ensure the highest level of security, 15Five is continually investing in our overall information security program, resources, and expertise. To review 15Five’s security documents, and how we handle your company data, see our Trust Website.

Feature Structure

The integration is configured from Agents Hub > Integrations > HubSpot.

Permissions and Access

Access is scope-based. When the HubSpot Super Admin authorizes the connection, they approve a set of OAuth scopes that define what 15Five AI can read. Two scopes are always required. The rest are optional and selected by default — uncheck any you do not want included before authorizing.

You choose what’s included at connect time. All optional scopes are selected by default. After connecting, the selection cannot be changed in place. To add or remove objects, disconnect the integration and connect again with a new selection.

Insights follow HubSpot permissions. Each person’s experience in 15Five AI reflects their access in HubSpot.

What Gets Synced

What 15Five AI syncs is determined by the optional objects selected when the Super Admin connects. All optional objects are selected by default.

Object What it covers
Deals Pipeline, stage, line items, products, and quotes
Companies Company records in your HubSpot CRM
Owners Internal HubSpot owners associated with synced records — the people on your team, not external contacts
Activities Notes, tasks, calls, emails, and meetings logged in HubSpot. Email bodies are included when sales email read is selected
Tickets Support tickets in HubSpot
Conversations Inbox threads and their messages

What’s Not Currently Synced

  • Contacts — contact records are not ingested
  • Leads — lead records are not ingested
  • Lists — crm.lists.read is requested to complete authorization; lists themselves are not synced

Backfill and Sync Cadence

On first connect, 15Five AI backfills up to one month of history. After that, records sync incrementally multiple times each day. Initial sync typically completes within 24 hours.

Key Rules

  • The OAuth scopes approved at connect time define what 15Five AI can access. To change which objects are synced, disconnect and reconnect with a new selection.
  • All optional scopes are selected by default. Uncheck any you do not want included before authorizing.
  • The integration is read-only. 15Five AI reads HubSpot records for context and cannot create, edit, or delete any data in HubSpot.
  • Contact and lead records are not synced. The contacts read scope is used to access activity records (notes, tasks, calls, emails, meetings), not contact records themselves.
  • The integration can be disconnected at any time from Agents Hub > Integrations, or by uninstalling the app from HubSpot under Settings > Integrations > Connected Apps.
