This article covers where Meeting Assistant notes and prep appear, and how each person chooses channels.
Direct Answer
Meeting Assistant writes notes into the 1-on-1 in 15Five and also delivers them by email, Slack, or Microsoft Teams.
Key Rules
- Notes are written into the 1-on-1 in 15Five.
- Notes go to both people in the 1-on-1.
- Meeting prep goes to the manager only, by the same channels.
- Meeting prep also shows on the upcoming 1-on-1 page, in the Meeting Assistant card, on the Meeting prep tab.
- The Meeting Assistant page lists upcoming and past 1-on-1s, and each one links to its 1-on-1 in 15Five.
- Email is always available as a channel. Each person can turn it off.
- Slack becomes a channel after the company installs the 15Five app for its Slack workspace.
- Microsoft Teams becomes a channel after the company installs the 15Five Teams app.
- Admins choose which channels are available in Manage > Settings on the Meeting Assistant card.
- Each person chooses their own channels from the available ones in their notification settings.
Common Misunderstanding
Turning off every notification channel does not stop Meeting Assistant from writing notes into the 1-on-1 in 15Five.
