Add talking points to my 1-on-1 from the Talking Point Bank

How to add a talking point from the Talking Point Bank 🧑‍💻

  1. Click on 1-on-1s in 15Five's main, left-hand navigation.

  2. You're now on the 'My 1-on-1s' list, which contains a list of everyone you've ever held a 1-on-1 with (unless you removed that person from your list). From here, open the 1-on-1 you want to add talking points to.

    If the person you want to add a talking point with doesn't appear on your 'My 1-on-1s' list, create a 1-on-1 with them.
  3. On the right-hand side of your screen, you'll see a box that says "1-on-1 Tips". Click the Browse talking points button in that box to open the question bank.

  4. Click the "+" next to a question to add it to your 1-on-1 agenda.

  5. The talking point will be added to your 1-on-1 agenda. From here, you can rearrange where it appears in your talking points list by hovering over it and using the six-dot icon to its left. You can also mark it as private by clicking the icon to its right.

    Note

    Private talking points are talking points that are only visible to you, making them perfect for jotting down sensitive topics or notes you’d like to bring up during a 1-on-1 without the other participant seeing them beforehand. This allows you to maintain privacy while still ensuring important issues are addressed during your meeting.

The following additional options exist for you to add talking points to your 1-on-1 agenda:

  • Custom talking points: You can add talking points to your 1-on-1 agenda directly from within your 1-on-1 agenda or in bulk from the "My 1-on-1s" list. Learn more.

Can I make a talking point added from the bank private?

Private talking points are talking points that are only visible to you, making them perfect for jotting down sensitive topics or notes you’d like to bring up during a 1-on-1 without the other participant seeing them beforehand. This allows you to maintain privacy while still ensuring important issues are addressed during your meeting.

You can make a talking point added from the bank private by clicking the lock icon to its right after adding it to your 1-on-1 agenda.
