Your Profile in 15Five is a collection of information designed to help you foster meaningful connections and access your 15Five activity, wins, challenges, and career information. This article walks through the various sections included on your profile page, which you can access by clicking on your avatar in the top, right-hand corner of 15Five.
Note
A person's profile is not to be confused with their account settings page, which contains user settings such as name, manager, and attributes.

About tab
The About tab contains science-backed questions designed to help individuals build strong working relationships. Once employees and their managers answer these questions, they are used in 15Five's Best-Self Kickoff: a strategic meeting that aims to help employees and managers understand each other and their work needs, align expectations, and foster psychological safety.
Visibility π: Your 'About' tab is visible to everyone in your organization.
This tab consists of science-backed questions proven to help build strong working relationships. Your 'About' information is visible to everyone in the company, but you have the option to make your answers to the About questions private to your manager only.
In the sidebar of the About tab, you will see the option to hold or view your Best-Self Kickoff: a strategic meeting that aims to uncover what an individual needs to do their best work and how managers can support them in their career path. During this meeting, an employee and their manager discuss the respective answers they gave to the questions included in the About tab. Learn more about Best-Self Kickoff.
The 'About' tab also contains sections of team information in the lefthand sidebar, including 1) any Check-in followers you have, 2) what groups you're a member of, and 3) if applicable, who is on your team (i.e. who reports to you).
Activity tab
The Activity tab contains personal 15Five information including your Pulse trend and individual usage activity about your objectives, Check-ins, 1-on-1s, and high fives.
Visibility π: Your 'Activity' tab is visible to everyone in your organization.
The Pulse trend is a visual dashboard highlighting when things are going well and also when issues may arise, based on Pulse scores provided in your Check-ins. The high-level view in this section allows you to see when you felt your best at work and when you struggled.
Use the filter in the top, right-hand corner of this section to view your Pulse trend for the past month, 3 months, 6 months, or 12 months.
Science
According to Social Comparison Theory humans naturally compare themselves to other people in both social and work settings. Yet, positive psychology research shows that constant comparison to others is a happiness killer. Instead, people are better off comparing themselves to their past selves.

The Objectives activity section allows you to view all current or past Objectives you own along with their progress percentages. Click on the name of an objective to open the objective details page, where you can view detailed information about the objective, change the progress or status of the objective, and make edits as needed.
Use the filter in the top, right-hand corner of this section to view your objectives for the past month, 3 months, 6 months, or 12 months.
Science
Research shows that monitoring progress on Objectives and Key Results is just as important as creating those OKRs! The ability to see the distance from the goal is crucial, so monitoring progress is necessary for goal setting to work. Goal transparency and a focus on progress are two key research- inspired elements that increase motivation and the likelihood of goal achievement.

How are you doing with submitting your Check-ins? The Check-in activity section shows you the percentage of Check-ins you've completed, as well as allows you to view a list of recent Check-ins and their submission status. Click on a Check-in period date to open that Check-in in 15Five.
Use the filter in the top, right corner of this section to see what percentage of Check-ins you've completed over the past month, 3 months, 6 months, or 12 months.
Tip
As an employee, submitting regular Check-ins improves your experience by fostering open communication with your manager and providing a platform for recognition and development. It empowers you to mark progress on your priorities, receive feedback, and actively engage in your professional growth, resulting in a more fulfilling and meaningful work experience.

In the Questions asked section, you can see what questions you've been asked in recent Check-ins, as well as which optional questions you skipped (i.e. didn't provide answers for). For leaders, this section is a great resource to see which questions may not be resonating with an individual so you can make their Check-ins more engaging.

This section allows you to view 1-on-1 meetings that have been held and ended, when the meeting took place, and who was involved.
Use the filter in the top, right corner of this section to see High Fives given or received over the past month, 3 months, 6 months, or 12 months. When viewing a manager's profile, you'll have access to an additional filter that allows you to filter 1-on-1s by those held with their manager or those held with their direct reports.
Science
Employees who seldom or never have one-on-one sessions with their managers are more likely to be disengaged. Conversely, those who engage in one-on-one meetings with their managers twice as often as their counterparts have a 67% reduced likelihood of being disengaged.

The High Five activity section lets you see how many high fives you've given and received recently, as well as access those high fives from one centralized place. Use the filter in the top, right corner of this section to see High Fives given or received over the past month, 3 months, 6 months, or 12 months.
Science
According to Gallup, individuals who receive recognition and praise are more productive, more engaged, more likely to stay with their organization, and receive higher loyalty and satisfaction scores from customers. We included a personalized High Five Feed in the Profile so employees can view all of their received High Fives in one place.

Wins & challenges tab
Wins & challenges is a private section of your profile that allows you to collect a list of your biggest wins and toughest challengesβ making reflection easier down the road. You can add wins and challenges directly from your Check-in. Managers can also add wins add items from their direct reports' Check-ins to their wins & challenges, making it easy to recall their successes and roadblocks when it comes time to fill out a review cycle or hold a meeting.
Visibility π: Your Wins & challenges tab is visible to you only. Your manager also has a Wins & challenges tab for you that only they can see. You cannot see what each other adds to wins or challenges.

Career tab
The Career tab contains your strengths, values, & passions, your job title, description, and responsibilities. In this tab, you can also add your aspirational job title as a reminder to help you keep on track as you progress in your career. This tab is a space to think about how you want to grow in your career and how you can leverage your strengths more in your role and in your growth.
Visibility π: The information in this tab is visible to everyone in your organization with the exception of your aspiration job title, which is only visible to you.
