Answer check-in questions directly from the 15Five Slack app without opening 15Five in a browser. Your answer saves to your current Check-in in 15Five immediately after submission.
Before You Begin
- The 15Five app must be added to your Slack account. See Add the 15Five App to Your Slack Account.
- A Check-in must be open and in progress for questions to appear.
Steps
- Open Slack and locate 15Five under the Apps section in the left sidebar.
- Click 15Five to open the app.
- On the Home tab, scroll down to the Questions section.
- Find the question you want to answer.
- Click Answer question to the right of that question.
- Type your answer in the popup that appears.
- Click Submit.
If Something Goes Wrong

| Questions section is missing | Confirm a Check-in is currently open in 15Five | Log in to 15Five and verify your Check-in period is active |
| Answer question button does nothing | Confirm your Slack and 15Five accounts use the same email address | Update the mismatched account email so both addresses match |
| Submitted answer does not appear in 15Five | Wait 30 seconds, then reload your Check-in in 15Five | If the answer is still missing, contact your 15Five admin to verify the Slack integration is active |
