Use the /request-feedback slash command in any Slack channel or direct message to send a feedback request to one or more teammates.
Before You Begin
- A 15Five account admin must have already connected the 15Five app for Slack.
- Your Slack account and 15Five account must use the same email address.
Steps
- Open any Slack channel or direct message.
- Type
/request-feedbackand press Enter or Send. - Wait for the Request Feedback popup to appear. Nothing posts in the channel.
- Click the Who would you like feedback from? dropdown.
- Select one or more people to receive the request.
- Click the What would you like feedback about? field.
- Describe the project, presentation, or topic you want feedback on.
- Optionally, add specific questions at the end of your description to guide respondents.
- Click the Share feedback with your manager dropdown.
- Select Yes to give your direct manager visibility into responses, or leave the default to keep responses visible only to you and the responder.
- Click Submit request.
After submitting, each selected person receives a notification to provide feedback.
