The Career Vision tab is where you draft an aspirational role by combining your strengths, values, passions, and energizing work results. Completing this tab and sharing it with your manager creates a foundation for career development conversations.
Before You Begin
- Complete the Role Clarity and Strengths tabs first. The Career Vision tab pulls results from both.
- All responses in this tab remain private until you click Share with manager.
- You can edit responses after sharing. Your manager receives a notification when updates occur.
Steps
- Click My Career Hub in the left-hand navigation bar.
- Click the Career vision tab in the Career Hub top navigation bar.
- Review the goal icons at the top of the page. Click Flip on any goal box to read more.
- Locate the Explore your Career Vision section.
- Answer the three vision board prompts: My ideal day, Things I want to do more of, and Things I want to do less of.
- Locate the Company ladders section.
- Click View your company's roles to open your company's external career ladder document, if available.
- Locate the Strengths discovery & Energizing work results section.
- Review your pre-populated top five strengths, values, passions, and energy ratings from previous tabs.
- Locate the My aspirational role section.
- Enter your aspirational job title in the Title field.
- Write your aspirational job description, referencing your strengths, values, passions, and vision board responses.
- Click Share with manager at the bottom of the screen when finished.
After sharing, your answers become visible to both you and your manager.
If Something Goes Wrong
