Configure a review cycle to include calibrations

Configure your review cycle correctly before creating calibration sessions. Without the right review type and calibration settings enabled, the Calibrations tab will not appear in an active cycle.

Before You Begin

Confirm your manager review question template includes the sections you plan to use in calibration — such as Private Manager Assessment, Company Values, Competencies, or Objectives.

Decide how you want to add questions to your review cycle

Steps

  1. Navigate to Reviews in the left-hand navigation.
  2. Click Create review cycle (or open a draft cycle to edit).
  3. In the Review type section, select the option to include manager reviews.
  4. Scroll to the Review timeline section.
  5. Select the option to include calibrations in the review cycle.
  6. Set the Manager review due by date.
  7. Set the Calibrations due by date at least 2–3 weeks after the manager review due date.
  8. Complete remaining cycle settings and save the cycle.

> Timeline guidance: Calibration sessions can begin after the Manager review due by date and must be locked by the Calibrations due by date. Allow 2–3 weeks depending on your organization's size and the number of sessions planned.
