Lock a calibration session

Locking a calibration session prevents further changes to answers and makes calibrated answers visible in manager reviews and summaries.

Note: Your organization may have renamed this feature. If you don't see "Calibrations" in your navigation, check with your admin for the name used in your account.
Important: Sessions must be locked before the Calibrations due by date. To extend that deadline, see Extend a review cycle.

Before You Begin

  • You must have Review Admin or Cycle Collaborator access to the review cycle.
  • The calibration session must be marked as complete before locking.

Steps

  1. Go to Reviews in the left-hand navigation.
  2. Click the name of the review cycle containing the calibration session you want to lock.
  3. Click the Calibrations tab.
  4. Click the name of the calibration session you want to lock.
  5. Click Lock session in the top-right corner of the page.
  6. Review the implications listed in the warning box, then click Lock session to confirm.

What Success Looks Like

After locking, the session status updates to locked. No further changes can be made to answers. Managers can see the updated answers in their manager reviews. Users with session access can still add, edit, and delete comments in the session's activity feed.
