Question Queue settings control whether the queue is active, how often questions appear, how many appear at once, and what happens after all questions cycle through.
Before You Begin
A Question Queue must already exist for the target scope (company, group, or individual) before you can configure its settings. See Create a Question Queue for Check-ins.
Steps
- Click the Settings gear in the bottom-left corner of your 15Five account.
- Go to Features Overview, locate Question Queue, and click Configure.
- Click the tab for the queue scope: Company-wide, Groups, or Individuals.
- If you selected Groups or Individuals, click the specific group or individual name.
- Scroll down to the Question Queue section.
- Click ... to the right of your queue.
- Select Manage settings from the dropdown menu.
- Toggle the queue on or off as needed.
- Set the question frequency: Weekly, Every other week, or Monthly.
- Set the number of questions asked per period: 1–5.
- Choose whether to repeat questions after all have cycled through, or stop.
- Click Save.
If Something Goes Wrong
| Issue | Check | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| Two questions appear in a bi-weekly Check-in when frequency is set to weekly | Check-in period is bi-weekly; queue frequency is set to Weekly | Set queue frequency to Every other week to match the Check-in period |
| Settings changes don't appear on current Check-ins | Check-in for the period was already submitted | Changes apply to the next open Check-in period |
| Manage settings option is not visible in the dropdown | Confirm your role has permission to manage this queue scope | Account admins manage all scopes; group admins manage their group; managers manage their hierarchy only |
