- Click Add Key Result to add your first Key Result.
- Enter a title for the Key Result in the Key Result name field.
- Select a Measurement type: numeric, percent, or binary (complete/incomplete).
- Set the Start value and Target value for numeric or percent Key Results.

- Repeat steps 8–13 for each additional Key Result (up to 5).
- Click Save Objective to publish the Objective.
If Something Goes Wrong
| Issue | Check | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| Add Objective button not visible | Confirm your plan includes Objectives access | Contact your 15Five Admin to verify feature enablement |
| Parent objective not appearing in search | Confirm the parent Objective exists and is active in the same time period | Create the parent Objective first, then return to this Objective |
| Key Result target value cannot be set | Confirm Measurement type is set to numeric or percent, not binary | Change measurement type before entering target values |
| Objective not visible to team members | Review the Visibility setting on the saved Objective | Edit the Objective and set Visibility to Everyone or Owner's group |
