Use these steps to update a key result value from the Objectives dashboard. Changes save automatically and take effect immediately.
Before You Begin
- You must have access to Objectives. See Objectives settings overview (Admin) for configuration details.
- To update a key result owned by another person, that person must have added you under the Who can update and edit this objective? setting on the objective. See Role-based permissions for Objectives for details.
Steps
- Go to Objectives in the left-hand navigation.
- Use the filters at the top of the page to find the objective containing the key result.
- Click the objective name to open its details page.
- Scroll to the Key results section.
- Click the value field to the right of the key result you want to update.
- Enter the updated value.
Your change saves automatically. No additional submission is required.
If Something Goes Wrong
| Issue | Check | Fix |

| Value field is not clickable | Confirm you are the key result owner or have been added under Who can update and edit this objective? | Ask the objective owner to add you under that setting. See Role-based permissions for Objectives. |
| Key result does not appear on the details page | Confirm the objective is not archived | Reopen the objective. See Reopen a closed or archived objective. |
| Changes are not reflected after saving | Refresh the page and check the value field again | If the value has not updated, contact 15Five Support with the objective name and key result title. |
