Create an Action Plan from the HR Outcomes Dashboard

The HR Outcomes Dashboard lets you create Action Plans directly from the Dashboard tab, either by building a custom plan or by accepting AI-generated recommendations based on your data.

Before You Begin

  • You must have access to the HR Outcomes Dashboard. Access is available to Account Admins and HR Admins by default.
  • This feature is available on the Perform and Total Platform pricing packages.
  • AI-powered recommendations only appear when 15Five detects meaningful patterns in your data.

Create a Custom Action Plan

  1. Navigate to InsightsOutcomes Dashboard in the left-hand navigation.
  2. Apply any filters (Groups, Attributes, Outcomes) to target the employee segment for your plan.
  3. Click Draft Action Plan in the top right corner of the Dashboard tab.
  4. Complete the Action Plan fields to define goals, actions, and assignees.
  5. Save the plan.

Use an AI-Powered Action Plan Recommendation

  1. Navigate to InsightsOutcomes Dashboard in the left-hand navigation.
  2. Locate an Outcome tile or Data Insights tile that displays a suggested Action Plan.
  3. Click Explore on the relevant tile to open the recommendation.
  4. Review the AI-generated plan details.
  5. Accept, edit, or dismiss the recommendation.

If Something Goes Wrong

Issue Check Fix
Draft Action Plan button is not visible Confirm your role has Dashboard access Ask your Account Admin to verify access in configuration settings
No AI recommendations appear Check whether 15Five has sufficient recent data to detect patterns Run engagement surveys and complete performance reviews to populate data
Filters do not affect the Action Plan target Filters must be set before clicking Draft Action Plan Return to the Dashboard tab, apply filters, then click Draft Action Plan
