You can edit a peer review after submitting it. If the participant's manager has already viewed your review, you must request permission before editing.
Before You Begin
- You must have submitted the peer review at least once.
- You cannot edit a peer review after results have been shared with the participant unless the manager first unshares results.
- You cannot edit a peer review in a locked review cycle.
Steps
- Click Reviews in the left-hand navigation.
- Click the name of the review cycle containing your submitted peer review.
- Open the Write reviews tab at the top of the page.
- Click the name of the person whose review you want to edit.
- Click Edit review in the top right corner of the page.
- If the button reads Request to edit review, click it to send an approval request to the participant's manager.
- Wait for the in-app notification confirming the manager approved your request.
- Make your changes to the review.
- Click Resubmit at the bottom of the page.
> Note: A reopened review is hidden from all viewers except you until you resubmit it.
If Something Goes Wrong
| Issue | Check | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| Button reads Request to edit review instead of Edit review | The participant's manager has already viewed your review | Click Request to edit review; editing unlocks after manager approval |
| No edit or request button appears — results already shared | Results have been shared with the participant | Ask the manager to unshare results, make edits, then have the manager re-share |
| No edit or request button appears — cycle is locked | A review admin has locked the cycle | Ask a review admin or cycle collaborator to unlock the cycle |
