Note: Your organization may have renamed this feature. If you don't see Reviews in your navigation, check with your admin for the name used in your account.
This article covers how to write and submit your self review as a participant in a performance review cycle. When complete, your review status changes to Submitted on the cycle overview page.
Before You Begin
- You must be added as a participant in an active review cycle. See Understand your role as a participant in a performance review cycle for details.
- Your review cycle must be open for writing. Contact your review admin if you are unsure. See Who are my review admins? for instructions.
Steps
- Go to Reviews in the left-hand navigation.
- Click the name of the review cycle you want to write a review in.
- Click the Write reviews tab at the top of the page.
- Click your name in the Reviews panel on the left side of the screen.
- Fill in each question field with your feedback.
- Add supporting context, depending on the review experience your organization selected for this cycle:
- AI-Assisted Reviews. Your review includes AI drafting for eligible open-text questions, the Context library, and the review assistant. See Write a self review with AI-Assisted Reviews for the full workflow.
- The new review experience without AI. You write every answer yourself. There are no Moments, AI drafts, or review assistant in this cycle.
- The legacy review experience. Click View resources in the top-right corner of a question section, then use the dropdown to navigate between data types (High Fives, Wins & Challenges, Objectives, Past Check-ins, Feedback, Career path). See Access the Resources for Your Review panel during a review cycle for details.
- Click Submit at the bottom of the review.
What You Should See
After clicking Submit, your status on the cycle overview page updates to Submitted. Your responses are no longer editable unless a review admin re-opens your review.
If you need to edit a submitted review, see Edit your submitted self review in a performance review cycle.
