Enable or disable aligned objectives

Admins can enable or disable the ability for users to create aligned objectives (parent-child relationships) and control whether child objective progress affects the parent. When complete, the toggle state is visible in Objectives settings.

> Note: Your organization may have renamed this feature. If you don't see "Objectives" in your navigation, check with your admin for the name used in your account.

Before You Begin

  • You must have Account Admin access to edit Objectives feature settings.

Steps

  1. Go to Settings > Features > Objectives.
  2. Expand the Aligning Objectives section.
  3. Toggle Allow employees to align objectives to a parent objective to On or Off.
  4. Toggle Allow child objectives to impact the progress of parent objectives to On or Off.
  5. Click Save.

After saving, the toggle reflects its new state immediately. No page refresh is required.
