Populate performance rating attributes in bulk via CSV import

Use a CSV import to update the performance rating attribute for multiple employees at once. When the import completes, updated values appear on each employee's account settings page under Additional information.

Before You Begin

Steps

  1. Click the Settings gear in the bottom-left corner of your 15Five account.
  2. Select People from the dropdown menu.
  3. Click the Import tab in the top navigation bar.
  4. Click Download current structure to download your company's employment structure CSV.
  5. Save one unedited copy of the downloaded CSV as a backup.
  6. Open a second copy of the downloaded CSV.
  7. Delete all columns except email, firstname, lastname, and your custom performance rating attribute column.
  8. Sort the first_name column in ascending order to match the order of your performance ratings CSV.
  9. Enter each employee's performance rating value from the ratings CSV into the custom attribute column.
  10. Save the edited file in UTF-8 CSV format.
  11. Click Choose file at the bottom of the import page.
  12. Select your edited CSV from your computer.
  13. Review the changes on the Preview import screen.
  14. If the changes are incorrect, click Start over to cancel and return to the import page.
  15. Click Finish import.

The import can take up to 15 minutes to complete. Once finished, updated ratings appear in each employee's account settings page.
